Device power check

Can I use my Camera charger in Guatemala?

Check whether your camera charger will work in Guatemala: Types A and B, 120 V, 60 Hz, and what to look for on the device label.

Plug typesA · B
Voltage120 V
Frequency60 Hz
Before you plug in: check both the destination socket type and the input range printed on your own charger or appliance.

Plug shape and voltage are separate checks

A travel adapter changes the shape of the plug. It does not convert voltage. If the device input range does not include the local mains voltage, do not rely on a simple adapter.

What should I look for on the label?

Look for an input line such as 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz. Many modern phone, laptop and camera chargers support a broad range, while heating appliances are more likely to be single-voltage.

Medical or high-power equipment: confirm compatibility with the manufacturer when the label or power requirement is unclear.
